  • I'm not offended, you are right, I remember Jules mentioning this a while ago and thinking I must do that but never did until I saw you could get 50 points. Better late than never and I am going to get our PTA to promote it at school to see if I can get other people doing it there so for everyclick well worth the 50 points in my case.

phew it's nice to get an open minded response! i was worried i'd get a stream of attacks as seems to happen to people in forums..

it's a great idea to promote it..good luck!

I didnt even know what it was. Getting the 50 points was def what brought it to my attention - which I guess is why they offered them.

I bet there are lots of good things around both on and off of PB but we just dont always see them until something or one draws our attention to them.

yes i agree with you...i was just commenting on pretty much the same thing. it's like we need rewards in order to do something in return.

this particular offer was on the PB thread's front page with all the other offers for ages and ages but noone really talked about it. i just found it interesting how a very small reward sparked all this sudden interest.

I have just looked at the everyclick site and it is such a good idea. I use google alot every day-I am too lazy to type in https://www.blahblahblah.co.uk I just tap argos or whatever into google ! I would be much happier knowing some profit goes to someone who needs it. Also (the reason for my rant !) it looks like you can add your childrens school as long as it is a registered charity. I have emailed them to find out if and how it can be done. I will keep you informed. Might help someone support their school. HTH LL80

All registered charities are already listed & may be listed more than once. I searched for the Parents Association that my sister is on & it is listed under its initials, under its initials with spaces in between and with the full name! All the information about the charity is taken from the Charity Commission site.

I signed up when someone posted on here a few weeks ago about the competition to win £500 each for you & your charity. I spent ages going round in circles trying to register.

There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

  • Morning All,
Just a quick note to make everyone aware that when ordering from StrawberryNET you DO get charged by Customs for your parcel (it's in Hong Kong), though it doesn't say it's duty, it says it's VAT & an admin fee. I think this is very strange as I've bought from Wow Woman (which is also in Hong Kong) & I wasn't charged on those parcels. I have emailed StrawberryNET to advise them & they are refunding the charge, which is very good of them, since it's not their fault. They've said it can take up to 2 weeks for the refund so I'll keep you informed.
