Should I combine postage or not?

Well I've just weighed them both and they're going to have to go 1st class in one parcel which will actually cost me a little more, so no refund! Hoping they don't do as burtons would and mark me down on the dsrs though.
too many comps..not enough time!0 -
If you're a regular seller then a refund would be a nice gesture and very good for customer relations, ensuring repeat custom. If you're saving money and are happy to pass some of that on it's a win win situation. It's amazing what a couple of pound here and there given back to customers will do for long term relationships with customers..0

I think they must of misunderstood the question because you are not charging for postage as far as the buyer is concerned so you are not going to 'save' anything on postage by sending them together! Why not message the buyer and say due to them buying two items you will be posting them together 1st class post which will probably reach them quicker than they would of anyway!0 -
Thanks all
RFW I would say I am a seller who is skint and trying to sell as much of my stuff as possible
Sikh thanks for the advice, have sent them a quick message to say just that.
ETA - where's the normal smiley face gone? I wasn't trying to do a clappy one!

If it's too big for second class wouldn't standard parcels be cheaper than first class0

If I bought two "freepost" items from a seller, I'd expect them to be in the same packet.0

I've bought stuff from Amazon with free delivery, in separate transactions and from different departments on the same day and they have arrived together in same box.
I'm sure its ok to send together and not refund. For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.0 -
I don't think SP was cheaper, would have to check tho. But I think it was the right thing to upgrade to 1st class, they did buy two things after all. Thanks everyone.
