Car Hire in Florida

Hi

I am going to Florida in September (whooo:)), and looking to hire a car. Just two things I need clarifying:

Am I OK with my old paper driving license? I do not have the newer photo driving licence card and, do in general car hire companies include insurance with the quoted price or is it extra?

Thanks guys in advance.

When you hire a car from the UK with Alamo, it includes insurance. We do it regularly as DS lives in Florida.
