Hi, I'd love to join this challenge.

This week I have £70 cash to spend. My budget is as follows:
    £50 food shopping
    £10 Birthday present
    £10 Pocket money for me

If I can manage that I'll be very pleased with my little self.

Hi guys, hope all is well!

I've actually spent the last of my £10 today!
Contributed £3 to drinks last night (mwahaha) with my friend, he paid all the rest :j and then today I had to pick up just a couple of bits in Tesco so I had plenty to go in my batch cooked pasta sauce which I'm about to go off and make.

I have plenty of food in - kinda wish I had some apples and bananas but I can do without!

I've only got tomorrow at work, so I'll take lunch in (if I ever get off this computer!) and we've got a meeting off site in the avo so the day should go quickly. Obvs I have tea at home as done tons of batch cooking. thursday I have leave so won't leave the house unless I see my friend in the evening, petrol permitting. Friday I'm not getting Starbucks, can't justify it this week :( but I'll appreciate it all the more next week! Also my friend is at Glastonbury so I won't be getting hospital lunch for once, I'll bring something in.

Only downside is that I think I'm going to have to end up buying 2 bottles of wine, well at least one. It's mine and mum's "girls" night tomorrow, and we watch one of my Tesco LoveFilm DVDs with our tea and a bottle of wine, take it in turn to buy the wine. My turn this week and of course I forgot on the weekend. Also I'll probably need one for the weekend, can only see myself going out once, so call it a tenner for both those (as I'll try and get them tomorrow, plus put my petrol in earlier than normal so as to get in some NSDs before the end of the month!).

So I think I'm looking at a £10 overspend. However, that is still only £20 for the week, so not bad compared to my previous weeks!

Oh and also I've just sent (well, they're sat in the post box at the end of the drive) some mobiles off to be recycled and if they get the order value it's £53 for me, yay! I highly doubt that'll hit this week though, so I'll not expect anything until next week so as not to disappoint myself!

Hope you're all having a great week - mine is only so so, I think it's the grey weather, everyone seems to be in very "meh" moods at the moment.

    Hi everyone,

A bit of a crazy week for me but so far so good, all I have spent so far is £ 2.40 on sprinkled doughnuts for my little boys as a treat for doing so well at the dentist yesterday :o not a very good example after leaving your dentist I know but their teeth are spotless and I thought lol why not? :D

However tomorrow It is going to be a SD for me as I am going to Netto`s to grab the offers ;)

Rdchick.. have fun in Holland.. hubby and I went to amsterdam last year, kind of a 2nd honeymoon, and I had never ever heard of space cakes in my life. So He bought me a "chocolate muffin" - may I just add, it was huge - and I ate all of it at one go... hmmmm.. things started to look fuzzy and everything just made me laugh.. *blackout*.. next thing I know, I wake up in bed wearing a pink wig and neon green tutu`s.. dont ask! lolol My lovely husband made sure to record everything, of course lolol :rotfl:

whatever you do.. DON`T eat the chocolate muffins!!!! hahahahaha

Have a lovely week everyone x

  • I love Amsterdam! I did have a chocolate brownie but basically just fell asleep, fell over when I got up in the morning then had severe munchies on the rough ferry ride home... no tutus for me!

I'll be going to Eindhoven which is in the south- Holland is a funny place, people think about Amsterdam as what Holland must be like as a whole - it's actually a very sleepy country - really love being there though! xxx
