    If you use ordinary rechargeables, they will go flat really quickly. Ordinary rehargeables go flat on the shelf in a few weeks. Sanyo brought out Eneloops several years ago - batteries that hold their charge when not in use. Others have now copied them, and that is the sort you should get.
    I have used Eneloops, and they are good. I have used Uniross Hybrio's, and they are good too. Never used generics, but there is no reason to doubt what kwikbreaks says, since everything else in his message is spot on.

    Vapextech rechargeables are highly regarded in some circles , bought some myself recently for my MS keyboard , which has it's own charger!
