I'll give it a go and get back to you :D

As for your cajun chicken and jalapenos, get your Tesco value pizza, a normal chicken for roasting, tesco cajun spice and their own jalapenos

Using left over chicken bits in a bowl, dash of oil and half teaspoon (or more if you want) of cajun spice and mix. This is cheaper than buying the pre-made stuff! I'll work on the rest.

Ok how about this,..........hardest one first..........Donner Kebab:-

    For mint sauce, Take:

    100ml Natural yoghurt
    ¼ Cucumber, chopped
    Large handful Fresh mint, Chopped
    Pinch of Salt
    Method:

Throw all ingredients into a bowl and mix together. Cover the bowl with cling film and place in the fridge until needed.
The Mint sauce is the healthiest option, as it contains very little fat
    For Garlic sauce, Take:

    2 tbsp Low fat Mayonaise
1 tsp Minced garlic (adjust to taste)
    Method

Again, place them in a bowl together, mix up and leave until needed
    For Chilli sauce, Take:

    125ml Soy Sauce
    125ml Red Wine
2 oz Rice Syrup (Or Sugar Syrup)
    1 tbsp Sesame oil
    Hot Chilli peppers (to taste)
    Method

Place all ingredients into a bowl and Shake well. Keep in the fridge until needed
    For each Kebab, Take:

    Piece of Pitta bread
    4oz Lamb leg meat, cubed
    Handful of shredded Iceberg lettuce
    ¼ onion,
    Slices of cucumber, to taste
    4 Cherry tomatoes
Half a Fresh pepper (any colour)
    one Kebab skewer
    Method

Sepparate the layers of the onion, and dice the pepper into cubes (About the same size as the onion layers)
Thread the Onion, Pepper, Cherry tomatoes and Lamb onto the Skewer in a random order
Grill the Skewers under a medium grill for a few minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is firm
Meanwhile, take the Pitta bread, and slice it to make a pocket, place the Lettuce, and Cucumber in the pocket
Using an oven glove, remove the kebab from under the grill and place onto the Pitta bread. Pinch the bread around the meat, and pull the skewer out.
Top with sauces of your choice

You didn't tell me what sauces you liked so I added them all.

You're good!!! Do you need a lodger? lol

Singapore is like chicken chowmein with the noodles, chicken and them bean sprout (i think thats what they are called) things...but its spicey and has prawns, beef, chicken, pork etc in it. Soooo nice, the noodles must be covered in some kind of sauce though as i hate chicken chowmein lol.

OK in terms of looking at the debt- bearing in mind your CR might just be shot to bits ( weve all been there ;) )

    1. have you actually had a lok on experian at your credit file? https://www.experian.co.uk

    2. let me look at these debts & see if theres anything that can be done.
Egg Loan -£4,548.14 6.9% No PP ( are there any penalties for overpaying this loan?)
Post Office Credit Card -£1,670.62 14.9% No PP ( i take it you cant move these to cheaper credit cards?)
Dad (loan in his name) -£7,000.00 6.0% No PP
    Overdraft (Barclays) -£2,105.53 ?
Overdraft (A&L) -£44.71 ? New account £50 OD ( is this the parachute account?)
Littlewoods Catalogue -£565.81 ? n/a ( check this out very important I think this is 20-odd % if its out of your 0% period)
Barclays Loan -£2,640.01 24.9% With PP- cancel the PP? have you tried to reclaim that? this is a SUPER high APR and this is the one you need to be overpaying. however you might need to check how the interest is levied - ie front loaded or not

Basically the ONLY way you will be able to recover your credit rating is by clsing debt down. As an aside, maybe the first one you need to look at is the A&L, as this is small but should be the first to be "settled" on your account, which will look good.

otherwise the best way to structure off paying the debt off is by highest APR first and then pay the mins elsewhere.

As is fairly clear from the conversation which has gone on in my absense, both you and your wife are struggling to literally KEEP HOLD OPF MONEY.

I suggest having a seperate bank account for all your direct debits. and putting the requisite amount of money in there at the start of the month. then nothing will bounce. And you can wstart to get on an even keel. Dont have an overdraft on this if you can help it.

then set up savings pots - for cr tyax you can buy stamps at the post office, something popped aside for Xmas ( even using supermarket savings stamps is a start) and so forth.

Once you have put the total amount of money aside for the essential DDs, you cn then see whats left. Make it your mission to spend NOTHING. Have challenges with the wife, talk her out of thingds and she with you and hassle each other. Its impossible I reckon to be able to REALLY change your overspending lifestyle unless you have a TEAM mentality.

just go for it! sell off anything you dont need, even if you only get a quid for it, its better that quid be wroking for you in reducing your debt than not.
get into mystery shopping, you can have meals out and get paid for it, along with plenty of other bits & pieces.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

What ive tried to do is avoid asking for loans for 6 months. The idea was to tidy up myself so that i could last 6 months without missing payments then id be in a better possition to apply. But hey ho...ive not asked for a loan in 3 months but ive missed payments.

i dont suppose you know if it goes bad on your credit rating if you have payment breaks (currently at the end of a break on the mortgage and loan).

Ok thanks for the insurance info ill see what i can do!

Payment breaks dont effect your credit rating if they are within agreement of your credit supplier. so your fine on that. missed payments do go on your file and effect rating.
