  • hi all, just got dvd human traffic, yellow sticker 1.97 / scanned at 5.99.
silly woman at cs tried to give me r&r 5.99 plus dvd.i pointed out to her the board behind her with dtd paragraph. with a face like a smacked bottom she then gave me 8.04 plus dvd. i really think this cs woman was trying to avoid giving me dtd as my brother had the same problem with the same woman only on saturday, so im sure she knows about the latest policy.
hasnt put me off though, its just made me more determined to find more dtd items.
    they are out there.

Noticed beef roasting joints (topside/rump) today with yellow SEL of £5.89/kg or similar, expiry date 24th March 2007, but must stock in Carlisle store was price marked at £6.49/kg.

Can't vouch for what it scanned at, as I got a 'Finest' boneless rib joint reduced from £10.90 to £5.45 instead, despite the fact that the Use By wasn't until next Wednesday...methinks the assistant I grabbed it off just as she was marking it down had it lined up for her Sunday dinner....:D Very good it was too!!

Missprices on page 5 ....... who'd have believed that a month ago.

Sugar Puffs Bogoff £1.39 deducts £2.78 so they're free. Treat the kids.

    FREE CADBURYS EASTER EGGS.

Noticed sel today at Cadburys mini egg medium easter eggs £1.48 BOGOF.

This limited offer expired on 19/3/07 and current offer is 3eggs for £3.

Didn't try it but 2 should scan at £2.96 overcharge £1.48 DD = £2.96, So TWO FREE EGGS.

Don't be greedy and try for 4 or more as 3 for £3 offer will kick in.

    The sel's are out there.

    Happy Hunting. ;)

NEWSFLASH!! They have tried to correct the sugar puffs error..BUT.......... they have corrected it TWICE. Means you buy two and get BOTH free, nothing to pay! To avoid them noticing I have used self scanners and also put through other things with rhen. Cleared out one store and took a "few" from two others. Go get them tonight before they correct it tonight. Ah.... the good old days of freebies from MR T.

Just went to a store and found the shelves *empty* - but noticed the 'carts' with the new stock at the end of the aisles... and sure enough there was a couple of boxes full of our lovely small-size packs, waiting to be displayed.

So now is probably a good time to go and check the stock if your store had run out earlier.
    This too, shall pass.

Out of stock yesterday in my local (Earls Court, London), went back today and glitch had been corrected :( Was suspicious when the "BOGOF" sign was missing today... (still scanned as bogof, but only took off one packet cost).
