Tesco whole ducks and guinea fowl - these were mispriced, but had been corrected with stuck-on yellow labels in my store. Ducks were originally priced at 2.98 instead of 2.23 per kilo. I can't remember the prices of the guineafowl, but noticed the discrepancy between original and amended price was about 1.50 - so nice DTD.
Hopefully there are some out there still mispriced.

Doesn't anyone eat duck or guineafowl? I went to a different Tesco today - fridge laden with mispriced birds. 75 p kilo on ducks, c. 1.75 kilo on guineafowl.

  • hi all , first a big thanks to leadhead for the advice about spending my various vouchers. today i tried to get 60.00 worth of clothing and use 36.00 in vouchers. well it didnt happen for me as the checkout granny would only allow one clothing voucher. i told her to void all clothing off except a pair of shoes for my son which were 7.00 i also bought shower gels , hand wash and used 2 qt vouhers " she wouldnt put a third through "plus a 2.50 so beautiful voucher. also bought a newspaper and 2 copies of 007 book, poster reads3.73 scanned at 6.99. my total shop was 23.72
anyway i felt a bit disgruntled about the clothing, but went over to cs for dd .
i was offered one book free?
i said about the dd sign behind them, and one ran off to get the manager.
she was gone for quite some time, and the cs woman who was left there said she would sort it out on her own. i gave her my debit card and she refunded me .................wait for it ..........27.96 ??????????
the total cost of four books.? why? i worked out i should have got 13.04 back. so my total shop was 23.72 then im refunded 27.96. mental.
i walked away very quickly as i caught sight of the manager on his way to cs. felt vey happy and had a warm feeling inside driving home today dispite the clothing vouchers. but i will try them again in another store, probably choose a checkout with a young fresh face and not an old one that looks like a smacked !!!!.

Dtd means you would have gotten £6.52 back not £13.04, so the offer of one free book in this case would have been preferrable. Cant argue with £27.96 though!!!

    2 books were bought so £6.52 x 2 = £13.04 ;)

Oval Enamel Roaster, Barker £6.97, SEL £4.97, charged £6.97.

DTD £4 refunded, so ended up paying £2.97 for it!

    Hope this helps someone!
