I have it on good authority that the rumour was untrue and there is no policy change, so relax its business as usual.

Apprentley H/O were inundated with calls regarding this - But it is under review, The new policy is being considered and when the 'new' Tesco year starts in March/April expect an announcement - Even if the policy does not change to 'Double The Diffrence' there will be alterations to the policy, Of course you will be first to hear the details as they will be launched into stores prior to going 'live'.

I dont call people trolls for having a different opinion.

I do however call people trolls who dont listen, and insist on the same opinion, without listening to the explanation........

These people seem to have a "set" opinion, no matter the explanation.

    hope this helps:rolleyes:

In Internet terminology, a troll is a person who enters an established community such as an online discussion forum and intentionally tries to cause disruption, often in the form of posting messages that are inflammatory, insulting, or off-topic, with the intent of provoking a reaction from others. Generally trolls get cheap thrills from the above, only to leave the community shortly after.

Thank you, as I said and via PM I had made enquiries and was reassured that the policy was not about to change (nor likely to) but I don't blame you for having some fun.

TE is ok, its the !!!!!! who take the bait that I have problem with and worse still are the people who make the threats towards him.

tell them about the other button at the bottom of the page.

My topic concerns the use of the "thanks" button.

I realise that a lot of seasoned posters arent bothered at all about, whether they get "thanked" or not.....Well, I am............and so are some others, who I have spoken to.

I know this isnt what this forum is about, but its part of the overall scheme of things.........like getting feedback on ebay.

How would anyone know about trusting someone, if there wasn't a feedback system on ebay.........I feel the same way about the "thanks" count on here.

I'm proud of the ammount of thanks i get........it makes me want to answer questions.......but its not the be all and end all.........

i read this post with some sadness and amazement, then noticed that in the next 2 or 3 pages you thanked nearly every post, regardless of its content!

how does it help new posteers know whether to "trust" someone when they've got thanks for saying merry christmas?

more time outside is needed i fear.
