Merry Christmas and huge thanks to all the members who post the R&Rs.....the present pile under my tree is so much bigger because of you lot!

Take care and I'm sure, even if Tesco's change the policy, I'll see you all around the Grabbit forum somewhere.
  • Merry christmas all and thanks to Tesco for my wonderful moet. It feels like Christmas has come early;)

Our resident troll making a typicallly provoking troll post.....even when theres no reason to provoke.
Yeah, I think we'd worked that out thanks. When will you learn that you need to ignore such posts rather than spend ages telling the rest of us to?
You post a lot of really useful stuff on here so why spoil it with rubbish?
I saw your post about "thanks" as well. Post good things and everybosy will thank you for it. Post rubbish and only cheapy will :)
Anyway, Merry Christmas to ALL MSErs. That includes the vast majority who stay well away from this particular thread.
    Can I help?
  • Dear Father Christmas,

We here on MSE have all been good boys and girls this year.

Your friend Terry Leahy has given lots of us free Xbox 360's and PSP's and lots of other stuff.

I know it's late, but lots of us really want a High Definition TV to play these Xboxes on. I realise you don't have room on your sleigh and they wouldn't fit down the chimney anyway.

Could you leave us one each in the local branch of Tesco, and have a little label on the shelf saying it's less than what it scans for. Then we can all go and pick it up the day after Boxing Day.

I've left you a case of Kronenbourg and a load of carrots for the reindeer.

    Merry Christmas

cheapie ( and all the other good MSE'rs )
  • And Merrry Christmas to the trrroll :xmassign:

I see that both leadhead and myself have a higher proportion of thanks in relation to number of posts than too many rrr's does ;)

Maybe because we help fellow members or maybe because we're not pompous 4rses :D

And leadhead and myself can spell everybody :D

    Festive Greetings from His Dudness.

Krone in my hand - XBOX on standby - Moet on ice - bliss....

A peaceful time to all - veterans, newbies, lurkers and trolls alike.

I'd like to make a little appeal if I may, with the help of constantine and spa and any other Tesco employee that may like to join in, I'd like to run a biscuit fest, every year at Christmas Tesco as do all supermarkets sell off all Christmas lines at racked down prices, particular bargains can be had in perishables, my favourite is biscuits as they can sometimes get really daft with the prices and I buy them up and pass them on to a couple of local urine banks (elderly care homes) the residents get quite frantic believe it or not at not having to fight over the wafers or the jam and cream rings as there is an abundance when your picking them up for pennies, buy some biscuits and give them to a granny is the appeal. Tesco employees can offer up any advance warning of when the reductions are due to take place although I am aware that sometimes this can be only minutes

Your comment "Local urine bank" is so typical of people who have no idea, one day sunny boy you will be old and infirm and perhaps you will have the same condition with any luck, I will not wish you a merry Christmas as you do not deserve one. prat
