oh and Constantine and Spa won't go on there because they're as paranoid as everyone else on here.

And to be honest IMHO, this type of general comment seems to let your posts down.

Theres really no need for it mate.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

its true though mate and they will agree with that !, they are afraid that we will peep at their IP address and come on here and say "Constantines IP address is Preston or Leeds" we wouldn't but its the paranoi thing.

Personally too much is made of the whole location thing but thats a different story.

  • Hi hope someone can help? Please dont shout if silly question!!?? A friend phoned and asked me to go to Mr T and get her a Sony K310i for a last minute present. I phoned a few stores, found one that had it in store and asked the price. The girl advised £39.xx I asked her to confirm - she did and I headed to collect. on arrival was told £59.xx by a different staff member, when I queried another girl standing said she had heard the original call and that I had been advised £39.xx and the original girl(who I had been speaking to on the phone) confirmed she told me £39.xx . But apparently thats only if you bought £40 of shopping - I wasnt told that - tried to argue my point but they wouldn't shift. so ended up paying £59.xx. I was annoyed at the fact I was given wrong info - but on hindsight if I had bought say £40 of clothes (already got my groceries)to get the discount - could I have returned the clothes without the phone?!

Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks

you can't argue about the price quoted on the phone- they gave you the discounted price.

Anyway my advice is to take the phone back and get refund and then rebuy the phone with £40 quid worth of stuff, then take the £40 worth of stuff back- chances are they won't notice you've had a discount and hey ho the phone at £39

Cmon mate...weve been "friends" for quite a while, PMing each other quite often....

Your posts are great......its just the last lines often seem to do you no justice.

I dont want to turn this "general discussion on the merits of both sites". into an argument between you and I.

And if they do notice, take a gift card, which is redeemable anytime on any items.
