Sky Slow Speed?

Hi All.
I am on Sky base, but have always had slow speeds, but now worse. No noise on line. I have wireless sky router, but if connected to master it does not reach computer downstairs. So I have been using secondary? socket. Have new outreach master faceplate and line checked by BT engineer who said I should get 1.5 down??
My router statistics are below. Have heard that using homeplugs may help? ANY advice appreciated from any one. THANKYOU!!

In order to eliminate the possibility that the extension cabling is shaving a little off the speed (and with a line like that, every little helps), the first thing to try is to plug the router into the master socket. If it's one of the newer types as you say the front part comes off; plug the router into the socket behind and then repaste the statistics from your router.

Routing using the plugs may be better than using the extension. However before you go and buy those, you need to know whether it will make any difference, and the above will enable you to determine that.

Thanks!!! will try that, will borrow laptop, as my router does not reach computer. Will get back with findings.
