I was going to get a creative vision w but this is seriously swaying me now.

Decisions, decisions.

Edited to add: it's down to £99.99 now inc delivery, less than half the price of the creative, I'm definitely getting one

May I reccomend AVS Video tools.. it cost me $30 or so.. and has a programm called "AVS DVD to Go".. (A quick google will find it)

Place the dvd in the drive and select the file/drive and click on a picture.. of what type of device you want the DVD encoding to it covers everything from a PSP to a PMP to a Phone..

it was so simple even I could work it..lol

it also had a few other video conversion programms bundled with it that I have found usefull.

Raggie.But this Grundig PMP comes with a free cd software that splits the dvds.I don't think anyone needs to buy another program for this player.

Amazing isn't it, and still going for £150-200 on amazon! I'm just having a read through all the reviews now which are mostly good, and even though I'm guessing I'll probably be back to this thread for techy help once it arrives it's just such a good piece of kit for that price I couldn't resist.

imho.. I know the kids have it..

But I found using the supplied S/W I was having to go through a couple of stages of converting files.. and it seemed to take an age..

I found the AVS software did it in one step.. and is yet to fail...

just thought it could be usfull to other techo-idiots.. like me..

and you did ask was there an easier way..

yes it does take for ever.I copied the dvd to my computer in about 30mins but that Ht video splitter has been running now for about 1 hour and still hasn't finished .

Raggie.I am just downloading it now.It seems i can have it on trial for a while.I will copy a dvd and see what its like.

Also how good is the camera?

Not got to the camera bit yet .Still busy putting a dvd on to it.
