Really impressed with City Link

City Link may have upped their game, many people may be happy with the service. But, like the above, I won't use them or parcelmonkey again.
I had "consignment cancelled by cusromer" twice after collection. Neither the reseller nor the carrier were at all interested.0 -
I won't be using City Link on a regular basis, but for the odd large item, I think I'll stick with them. I was using Parcelforce before, and it was a nightmare. No collections, and terrible customer service. When I'd phone to ask if collection was being made (second time trying after first collection wasn't made), I was told that the courier was definitely coming to collect. Waited all day, nothing. By comparison, City Link has been stress- and problem-free. Maybe it varies from area to area? My local depot seems to be efficient.0

Had 2 parcels supposed to be picked up with city link today. They have not been collected till half 5 so i rung the customer service.
15 minutes on hold, than a lady ask for my IA number and put me another 15 minutes on hold.
She told me that their driver is already back in the depot and didn't manage to do all his pick ups today, but he will pick them up tomorrow for sure.
My location is only 4 miles from their depot in Ashford.
I hope that i was just unlucky and will see if the pick up tomorrow.
PS:
PLEASE NOTE: IF NOBODY IS PRESENT AT THE COLLECTION ADDRESS OR IF YOUR PARCELS ARE NOT READY WHEN THE CITY LINK DRIVER ARRIVES, THEN WE ARE VERY SORRY TO INFORM YOU THAT YOU WILL NEED TO PAY A £15.38 + VAT WASTED JOURNEY SURCHARGE.
Can I invoice them now a waste of my time surcharge?0
