i went ahead and ordered but their system is odd, if you aren't ordering for a school and are paying by card they have to contact you by phone later to take payment

i'm a home educator so i put that in the school name field, has anyone else ordered for themselves and were they ok with that? i truly do home educate my daughter but some sites are weird about that...

I ordered last time there was a sale and a lady contacted me for payment the next day.

It all went through fine and books arrived the following day.

It's a shame you cannot pay automatically though - think they should move with times.

But the books are great value!!

I have also used them before and thought their system was strange but lately I have come across a few companies like it. Why can't you just do it all online, very strange!
  • Thank you! 10 books for £11.50 with p&p, I'm very pleased with that. I can start filling up my xmas box now my boys will love the horrible histories books. Thanks for posting!

It may be something to do with the terms & conditions of their merchant account. We had one and happily took credit card details over the phone for years but the price went sky high if we wanted to take them online.
