Works out at £2.25 a bottle if you buy 6 (as they deduct the 5% off the original £4.99 price). Just had a glug of this tonight (the shiraz) and tastes pretty nice to me. And 14%!0

Would the red be any good for making mulled wine?.0

Ideal according to a recipe we have:beer:0

The red is VERY VERY good. It is really rather sweet for a red - very fruity. Love it. Want more. Have no money. Still want more. Still have no money. Best get creative.....3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Is this deal only in multiples of 4 bottles? That would mean you'd have to buy 8 bottles to get another 5% off - is this correct?0
-
The 2 deals are seperate:
1. Buy 4 for £10
2. Buy ANY six bottles for an EXTRA 5% off.
So yes you would be wise to buy an extra 8 bottles, total 12 bottles, to get the best deal.
Which is what we did + wife's 20% staff discount!0 -
Got 12 bottles today....not for me
.........came to £27.00 for the lot....shame I don't know anyone working there to get the staff discount

Well normally Somerfield give 10% staff discount but when it's Xmas they get double discount!!!
But still £27 is a good buy. I think it's a very nice wine too.0 -

I *think* the deal is 5% discount on 6 or more bottles, so i reckon you should be able to get 8 bottles for £2.25 each. Anyone? I got 12 bottles for £27 a few days ago and I'm going to have to go back for more for our NYE party. Bloody lovely wine!0 -

4 bottles cost £10
2 more bottles cost £9.98
Total for 6 bottles £19.98
subtract 5% = 18.91
divide by 6 = £3.16 per bottle!
It would work out cheaper if you were to buy 3 offers. i.e, 12 bottles at £30 minus 5%. The u'd get them at £2.25 each.
Are u saying that if you buy 4 bottles any further bottles are £2.50 and you dont need multiples of 4 to get the offer?Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Mortgage rate 0.75% = 5.75% profit on £75K = £4500 per year:j
Mortgages make money. Definitely don't wanabee mortgage free!0
