yesterday on the way to the supermarket i went over a couple of pot holes that cause mis allignment of the wheels. I could have avoided the pot holes if there wasnt any oncoming traffic and parked cars on the left.
now when i drive in a straight line the car slightly pulls to the left.
motability said kwik fit are contracted to do wheel allignments for motability customers for free.
i been to a newish kwif fit centre who have the latest equipment to allign all 4 wheels.
when i arrived the manager said he doesnt have the equipment to reset steering angle sensor part of the electronic power steering of the 2011 car. And he told me to go back to the dealership to get it sorted.
Is motability liable to pay for the wheel allignment bill at the dealership if kwik fit cant do the job?
thanks,

Best to just give them a call and ask tbh."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0

Phone your the dealer your car came from and ask them what you should do.0

they say they do the job if motability pays for the bill.
Of course they will, anyone will including a~n~other better equipped Quick-Fit will do it if the money is underwritten. Your starting point is to ask Motability if you can take it to your original [ dealer ] supplier for attention.
You need to check with Motability themselves my friend.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. i phoned up motability and the person i spoken to didnt understand what wheel allignment is.
does anyone know the general terms and conditions regarding wheel allignment on motability?
as you well know the huge amount of unfixed potholes on the road so its likely that i will get the same problem again after if motability pays for the bill at the dealership.
will motability foot the bill again for wheel allignment?
or will motability keep footing the bill whenever the car needs wheel allignment?
there must be a fair usage policy/allowance right?0 -

Ring again and explain to the nice person its a little round black cartridge in the steering wheel, use this for your education. tell the phone jockey to have a look here and s/he will understand.
Most companies don't [ recal ] repair, they just stick a new one in and charge loads of money.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Were you driving too fast and did not have enough time to stop when you saw them?
It's quite simple, just drive a little slower and when you see another pothole, you could stop in time!0 -
