    Invoice for delivery?
I notice the email says delivery charges will be applied later, but I used a free delivery code posted in this topic so hopefully it won't apply.

I honestly can't remember very well as it was two years ago and I didn't get stung by these people as I had a personal code that had been sent through in the post to me.

What I do remember is that lots of MSE'ers did this a couple of years ago, didn't get charged at the time, were then sent an invoice (some of them didn't even get the invoices!) and were later slapped with a late payment charge over which there seemed no movement. It was quite a stressful time for a fair few people.

Having been a member of this site for the past two and a half years, I've taken up special offer code offers with a large selection of companies. Studio is one that I would now avoid like the plague.

If you have already placed your order, then good luck, but my concience won't allow me to sit and read these posts without at least bringing others' past experiences to your attention.

If anyone is considering this, at least do a site search on Studio and take a look at the threads that were raised at the time.

    Good luck ;)

  • They can slap delivery on the roses or any other freebies order. So if you used a code for free delivery, unless you have proof of being sent that code [ie: a leaflet, or email], then you will most likely be liable [and billed] for their delivery charge, and then subsequent "late payment" fees if you refuse to pay up, no doubt - although the legitimacy of additional fees would be more debatable I guess, depending on how clear their T & C's are.

Does anyone actually have an email from the with the free delivery code on?
    .
  • I have an email from them that states the free delivery code!!

    People, you've been warned!

This all blew up a couple of years ago and loads of MSE'ers got stung over it.

Also you can order as many tins as you like.....you'll still only get one (and will possibly end up with a late payment charge for an invoice that you are disputing!)

i wish they cancell mine now but there was no t&cs
  • isnt there a link between these and farepak?

If they invoice you and you're not happy about it, phone them up and say you don't know where it's come from and you did not order it. Therefore you're certainly not going to pay a delivery charge for something that you did not even order.

Anyone could have ordered it for you, I'm sure you know names and addresses of your neighbours, and that's enough for them to get sent a bill.
