I bought a collection of Disney DVDs only to be told in email by seller that they will infact be dvd-r as they were orig region 1 or something so they r on dvd - r to ensure work on region 2.. no mention of this on listing!..
What can I do.. it was a buy it now.. I dnt want neg feedback mines is 100% but I refuse to pay for these.
Do I stand a chance?

It's not as the seller described it - and copies aren't allowed to be sold!

Report the seller for selling films on a recordable format.
By the way, most Disney films are released only periodically for limited periods, to keep the demand and price high... sigh.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

If you won them cheap and were a bargain why don't you reply :
"DVD player is multiregion and original R1s are okay and will not settle for anything else".
