Ouch, Tuggy - reading that made my ears hurt. :)

As others have said, not a very easy read and hardly a good explanation of what happened.

    Short version, in English:

OP went to view a car to purchase.
Seller of the car indicated it was a straight forward pensioner's car (bargain, low mileage, can't go wrong)
Seller was cagey with the paperwork and keen to get the OP's name on the log book soonest.
OP distracted the seller and grabbed the paperwork.
Paperwork for the car said the car is a Category D.
Seller was clearly a devious old toe-rag, well used to stiffing buyers with dodgy/undeclared problems with cars he's selling. The Cat D should have been disclosed to the OP, but instead was deliberately evaded/hidden.

OP: If you're that mad, find out if his car selling activities should be alerted to somebody important... is he a dealer/should be declared? Or what?

I'm beginning to glean that '...scatd...' means a 'Category D' car, but I'd have never have got that from the original post.

No, if you're too thick to cope with reading the message as it's written you're beyond help.

Ever heard of a tongue-in-cheek comment?

I don't think anybody could say that the OP's post is easy to read.
