using treated wood in wood burner

iv got bucketloads of building timber 8x2 & rather throw it in the skip i was thinking of using it for my woodburner.probaly got enough for the whole winter,but its been pressure treated and im guessing this would pretty much buggger up my stainless steel liner.what do u rekon

I had this dilemma too. In the end after a few test burns and a bit of googling I decided I didn't want to risk it.0

Well I would burn it and have the liner swept in the summer, but if you don't want too and your anywhere near me then I will take it off your hands0

It's not the damage burning treated wood could do to your woodburner you should be concerned about, but the damage to your health.............
