I'm sorry that the little group hanging around in this thread don't understand sarcasm, and have no sense of humour!

That playboy bunny as you put it is one of literature's most recognised characters.
Shame you feel you need to belittle the OP's taste in an effort to make yourself look clever though because I think you'll find you failed.
    :T

Unfortunately it wasn't an attempt to make myself look clever, I could do that in many ways, but being sarcastic and trying to get a response from a very tedious thread isn't one of them!

Why does it matter if the necklace is tarnished? If it hadn't been tarnished would the stones have stayed in?

i would guess they are trying to say its been in an alien environment and therefore invalidating their warranty
as said though worn 10 times and in a jewelry box is hardly used
and a pretty poor show for something that obviously cost a fair few bob

to be honest im not a high street shopper but i see these swakovsky shops in most main cities and abroad is it just another ratners type place?

That's my point!! It's not like I'm asking them to fix the gold or anything :(

Just want them to replace the stones which have come out, which IMO is unacceptable for such an expensive piece of jewellery, I'll see what the necklace is like when I get it back tomorrow, take pics and send it to their CS...might help? IDK what to do

    Just got an email back...

Thank you for contacting me with regards to your necklace.

I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the decision that your necklace cannot be repaired.

I have asked the store to send your necklace in for me to have a look at, and discuss this with our repair manager. This will enable me to see if there is anything we are able to do for you.

I do hope this is alright, and once I have received the necklace in, I will be in contact.

    Here's hoping... :(

I think I'd be stubborn with this and keep at them, I'm guessing it wasn't cheap either. I think I'd reiterate again that the necklace has been stored in a jewellery box and as no storage instructions came with the necklace originally you were not aware that this would cause a problem.

Not like Ratners! Swarovski's pretty high end. They're famed for their crystals and they're not cheap.
