Who are you in contract with when you buy from the link?

I have seen this offer for the K800i from the link:
http://www.thelink.com/martprd/editorial/03_sony_ericsson_K800i

And was wondering who your contract is actually with. Once you've bought your phone do you only ever see The Link again when your claiming cashback? If your phone breaks who do you send it to? When your contract ends and you want to extend it, can you upgrade your phone with orange or do you still have to go through the link?

Thanks :-)

Your contract is with Orange, who you should contact in the first instance on any problem with the phone. 07973 100150 or 150 from your mobile.

However The Link also provide after sales service. Phone on the number below, email them quoting your order number or visit one of their stores for help and product support.
    Telephone: 0870 333 1222 (National Rate)
    Email: thelinkwebsales@thelink.co.uk

The Link still have retail shops, and are still part of Dixons Group plc who are responsible for the cashback.

When your contract ends, it's your choice whether to upgrade with Orange or to go to a new contract with a supplier, which could be The Link or any other company.

O2 have bought over The Link and are either selling off the The Link shops or rebranding the remaining ones to O2.
