Hi I am Mrs HBS Mr HBS will be popping in every now and then to update as this is something we both need to do in order to get out of debt.

Our main problem is motivation how do you stay motivated????, we are going to work on that but your tips would be appreciated. We have 3 beautiful children DS age 10, DD1 age 2 and DD2 age 10 weeks they are what keep us going so maybe we need to use them in order to keep us motivated a short break for them each time a debt is paid ummm will think further on this

In order for us to reduce our debt we have to earn extra money. I have started a small business which I hope to develop while I am on maternity leave as long as I make over £20 per month I will be in profit!!

We will be concentrating on one debt at a time the first not being the highest but our biggist ball ache £1400 water rate arrears, we have £90 ready to pay off this so let the decline to zero start

Sorry for the long post If any negativity creaps in please give us a hard sharp kick up the rear.;)

Off to update signature and nose in other peoples diarys.

I have just done the snowball calculator and by just overpaying by £132 p/m ontop of standard payments I will only have 45 payments to make, I am so happy I thougt it would be longer than this so I will aim every month to overpay by £264 but a minimum of £132. Mr HBS starts a new job next month with quarterly and annual bonuses so will throw that at the debt and im hoping for a nice back payment from child tax credits DD2 was born 1/4 and they havent added her to our claim yet, we have chased this countless times they have now re-submitted the claim.

I have sorted out for ebay but my camera needs new batteries so will have to see if i have enough money in the account to get some tomorrow beforw the free listing ends. Im going to put our old laptop on the screen has come apart but it is a decent machine and its only sat ontop of our freezer catching dust.

Going to start some decorating tomorrow that should keep me out of trouble and we already have most of the materials.

i'm so tired my get up and go get up and went a nice early night i think.
