It varies - I try to get a relative in to let mutt out part way through the day, in which case she's on her own for 4 hours, gets company for 20 minutes, then on her own for another 3 or 4 hours.
If no-ones available to let her out, then she can go for 8 hours if she has to. Not ideal, and it only works now because she's old and sleeps a lot - she'd have trashed the house when she was younger. And although she copes being left she doesn't like it, and lets me know in no uncertain terms as I go out of the door without her.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Where is the '0' option?0

My partner and I work in residential care, we both do 12 hour shifts, works out about 13 hours inc travel. We rarely have more then one shift a week at the same time, and if we do, Max visits my partners parents for the day.0

Pooch comes to work with me, but I do leave her in the car (weather permitting!) for the odd hour or so whilst running errands etc.
She is more relaxed being alone in the car than alone at home, where she tends to get a bit of seperation anxietyI don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
