Without being mean to your friend, is it a really odd designed house?
The rooms look strange shapes and the windows are at floor level!

It says something about a traditional Yorkshire style, so maybe it is more common than I am aware of. But it might just be the camera angles. I think the photos are terrible.
Judging by the proof-reading of the text, I wouldn't trust that agent to do much better.

I'd suggest your friend takes some photos and gives them to the agent.
  • Photos are everything, get a decent agent that knows how to take good photos.

I have no idea how big the rooms are and the photos do them no justice at all.

    Quick thoughts are:
paint the kitchen in a lighter colour. It doesn't look very big already, so the dark colour will make it look smaller.
any way the shelves on the landings can be moved? They could make the place feel small and claustrophobic if you don't want a library on your landing?
draw the bathroom blind down a bit on viewings? I'd be worried about being overlooked, seeing the view in the photo.
Don't suppose they can borrow some furniture to stage the place, so that potential buyers can see how the space can be used, can they?

Could they put up a cheap toilet roll holder and lose or hide the loo brush out of the bathroom.
The roller blind doesn't look straight but again that could be the angle of the photo .

Picture 7 shows that there may be parking issues .....so maybe clever camera angles t0 negate this .

Whatever is around the front door appears dead and gives the impression the place isn't cared for.

New pictures might show this plant in its full glory if not and it is indeed dead rip it out.

    Regards

Heee! - can't resist being 'nosey' when folks put up links to houses - sometimes get ideas for decorating / furniture arranging - BUT

the pictures of this house are absolutely awful / off-putting / soulless

Apart from a complete lack of camera/computer photo skills (shakey and colour control), there is nothing that would attract anyone to give it a second glance - or even complete viewing the 11 photos

Nothing about the garden, nothing that gives any indication of room sizes or aspects, are you sure the agent actually wants to sell this house

Personally I would insist they do a complete revamp or remove the property from their books

The pictures of the location are difficult to get past. They set the scene for what life might be like living in that house and many will stop looking right there. I know I would.

    Are there many viewers?
