My advice, avoid Orange as they are not very good.

HAHAHAHA! Thanks for that! After 8 years with them I think i might have missed the boat on that advice!!

Having read various horror stories I don't think any network is particularly great :(
  • I take it that your original contract was the £35 per month?

So you were contracted to pay 18 months at £35. After 15 months at this, you upgraded early to the new 18 month contract, with a credit making it £20. Did you start paying that £20 immediately?

You are still contracted to pay them £35 for the 3 months of your old contract, since you allowed/asked them to tag them onto your new contract. Your not paying any more than you would've been had you waited until the 18th month of your old contract to upgrade.

No worries, we switched at work, over 200 phones and Blackberries, it was a disaster....I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot cattle prod

NO this has ALWAYS been £20 a month. I have never paid £35
  • Okay. Ring them and tell them that you had two lots of 18 month contract credits - that it shouldn't have ended.

They do still to loyalty discounts.

Theres a difference in the contract amount and the amount you pay.

If you contracted at £35 PCM but got an 198 month £15 discount then you may have been paying £20 a month but the contract was £35.

On your bill do you have lines like..

    Line Rental £35.00
    Loyalty Credit -£15.00

    TOTAL £20.00

    Or do you have

    Line Rental £20.00

    TOTAL £20.00

I don't have a bill to hand as I'm at work but I don't honestly see the difference. Surely if you agree to a contract at a price that price should be honoured...maybe I'm wrong but that just seems pretty s****y to me. It's like agreeing to buy something at a certain price and then being charged more. sits wrong with me.
