Errm, surely in the original example the word "of" has been used incorrectly instead of "have" 3 times, not just twice? It's been used wrongly in the last instance too.
Very good point, it could have increased my point by 50%!shaun_from_Africa wrote: »There is one good thing about this thread.
I can guarantee that most of the people who have commented on here checked, double checked, and checked again to ensure that there were no mistakes in their post before they hit the "post reply" button. ( I know that I did.)
I did indeed, but still made mistakes!
Fluffnutter makes a very good point, and one that I missed in the OP - I regularly correct a colleague who uses 'of' instead of 'have' in every email they send me. They are aware of it, but they just dont care......in fact, I am sure they do it to wind me up, and it works!0 -

It wasn't a tpyo...the 'tehy' was to highlight the earlier 'teh' spelling in the thread to point out that not everybody had double checked there posts loike you thought?....this is hard work!0 -

This thread could turn into a test to see who can write the first sentence to be spelt correctly, have the proper grammar, and to include all of the correct punctuation.

That's one of the biggest problems, identifying typo's from don't knows.
Was that "loike" above, a humorous insert? Or a typo?0 -
