Had electrician here today and new burglar alarm system fitted yesterday so not really able to get much done.

Have a fantastic day on Saturday - food sounds scrumptious - vows sound weepy in nicest way.:T

One dd is on holiday abroad with friends and another is working late so having meals in relays tonight. DH is having new potatoes and home made beef stew from yesterday. DD(17) having pizza and salad and other dd home made potato salad with LO sausages. I will have yellow stickered chicken en croute and potato salad.

Managed to go to Mr S and yellow stickered lamb kebabs and lamb joint are now in garage freezer. We had to empty the linen cupboard so will have to sort out towels and bed linen , probably tomorrow when things are quiet.

Is it just me wishes they would put the size of towels and sheets and duvets etc , on the label? It would save ages trying to sort out stuff if they did.

Hug to all and see you later.

    Evening all

    Very quiet here today!

Hester - the preparations seem to be going well. I'm going to wish you luck and happiness now cos I have a mind like a sieve and will probably forget!

Busy-ish day at work. Bit of admin for new recruits and bit of NVQ work. Meet my old student social worker for lunch which was nice :) . Feeling a bit of the vertigo today, think it's cos I'm tired from 2 late-ish nights. Going to chill and have early night tonight.

OS wise - ummm....nothing needs doing really! Need to make lunch for tomorrow but have some couscous in fridge so can just take that. CBA to make tea :rotfl: not overly hungry yet though.

    Have a good evening all

    Evening everyone

Today weather wise we have rain then sunshine, whats going on! Worked last night, they keep changing my shifts to different days, its getting a bit annoying. I am still looking for something else and have found another 4 jobs to apply for. I finished another application today and sent it off guarenteed next day delivery so should arrive on time.

DS2 went with his TA & senco to visit his new school today. He said it was good and met a few boys from our area who travel that are in year 7, soat least he will know someone going in the taxi. His TA was full of praise for the school and said it is fantastic and that the dyslexia unit is run by an amazing dedicated lady. He goes there for a full day in July.

os today hung washing up inside, cleaned kitchen and made bacon & mush risotto for tea. nothing else to report other than application form filling. they seem to take me hours.

Hester - your vows are lovey, have awonderful day on saturday.
Taplady - enjoy your time off.
Floss - i too would wait until tiling starts and do a damp dust everywhere, however if they are cutting tiles it may produce more dust.
Flutterby - I want your job, it sounds hard work but worthwhile.
BB - Hope your leg is better soon.

Sorry if i have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care and enjoy the rest of your evening.
