Going to be a mishmash day today, DD has nursery visit this afternoon for an hour or so right when I'd normally be cracking on with a few jobs. Oh well housework will always keep won't it ;)

Not sure whats for tea tonight :o Have put a cottage pie (without spuds) in SC for kids tea tonight. Not much OS really going on today :o

Hester - <sticks tongue out at Bursar> silly moo. I love your wedding vows :D Can't wait to see pics of the big day :T

Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good day OS or not.

    Morning Hester & everyone :)

Feel like a stranger cos I've not been in for ages! It was our silver wedding last week & we had a big bash Sunday just gone - spent too much money on food, even with self-catering, took ages to de-clutter enough to make house presentable & just recovered now, except...DS (4) was sick all through last night, not gone to nursery, picked up DS (19) from GF - he's got it really bad...! Had to tell family of child I mind not to bring in case they get it too. So...tons of washing/cleaning but at least I don't have to go out & we've got so much food here I won't have to shop again for at least a week! :D

DD asleep now cos she woke at 0515 - she was a bit sick, but doesn't seem too bad - we girls are tough in our house! :rotfl:

Got tons of work to do for stitching magazine as well, so that's my day mapped out. Hope you all have a better day (not hard!), hugs & kisses & will try to pop in later. Also need to think properly about winter & Chr*****s preparations too whilst I'm lurking at home!

    A xo

    Morning all,

slightly overcast but bright- will stick the washing out and see if it will dry.
I have an interview today so that I can get JSA, something I've never done/had before but that will atleast mean I have some money coming in until I can get employed!
Hester - you're so organised! I hope you have the best day and that the next couple of days are a picture of organised calmness.

Wishes for a good day to all =)

Hi everybody, been MIA last few days, have a horrible sore throat and all achy, ds4 has it also:(..Ds3 has one more exam to do then exams are over for him :).He can't make up his mind what Alevels he wants to take next year.Better get his thinking cap on before Alevel freshers week in 3 weeks time.Have just paid the final payment for the hall that I've hired for ds1+2 for their 18th birthday party on the 5th July.Wow I cant believe how quickly it has come round , seems like yesterday the were only teeny tiny babies . Have arranged a DJ for the music and my sister is catering the food in return for us looking after Betsy (her Rottie who is woofers sister) for a fortnight in the summer whilst they are in Turkey. Friend is making their cakes as her pressie to them so all planning has been taken care of ,(I think0;).The party is the last of a busy few days , ds3 has his Prom on the 1st July , neighbours birthday party for her 50th is on the 2nd, we have a christening to go to on the 3rd , nothing on the 4th and the twins 18th on the 5th:eek::eek:.Everyone will be exhausted by the end of all that.

OS today is nothing :o house is tidy and washing is blowing on the line another in the machine. Dinner will be chicken with roasted veggies and some roast potatoes.Have not long had my lunch with ds4, hm tomato soup ( hm by my lovely sister) and tiger bread which she picked up from the baker who has a stall on the market , and egg custard tarts from the same baker for lunchtime pud.Didnt want mine then so its in the fridge to have with a cuppa later.
Off to have a little rest on the bed before the troops are home.
Hope everyone has a lovely day :)

    Hi everybody,

Hester.....had a little weep at your vows....what a lovely ceremony.

Overcast with the odd sprinkle of rain here, machine has just finished so am going to put clothes out, will snatch them in if it really rains, otherwise they should be nice and fresh.

Dinner to-day is pork chops...haven't seen them yet as OH was the shopper, will have frozen beans, new potatoes and maybe some more bok choi....nobody else likes it and it will be gone to seed by the time we get back from Italy.

Getting to grips with some of the clothes we need rid of, can't tidy or clean properly there is so much stuff here....and I still have nothing to wear when going somewhere!

Hugs to all and best wishes for a good day everywhere

    Afternoon,

    HH - Lovely vows....glad i'm not coming i'd be blubbing :o

It's been one of those days.... from DD2 treading into her porridge this morning that she'd left on the floor to whiping the hoover cable up in the air at cleaning job and nearly pulling the candelabra from the ceiling :o, then went to Mr T's 7miles away only to get there without my purse.....

!!!!!!!! nora it's just really chucked it down, DD2 got so scared and just the curtains .

Tea tonight should be belly pork....but i kinda pigged out at 2pm so i should skip it.

Went to dr's about both legs....was told thats to be expected :o. So shall continue to put up the pain and swollen ankle.

DD1 had youth club tonight so am taking her there and picking her up....i will i will do my ironing in the 1hr i have waiting to collect her again.

    Hope everyones well.

Anniestar - Hugs hope your ok xx

WOW threads quiet today. Don't tell me you've all run off and got busy lives ;) :rotfl:

Was thinking of inspiration for tea so will make a quick pasta combination of tom puree, pasta, chicken and fresh spinach. It's growing in the veggie patch and I want to make extra use of it besides just in salads :)

DD enjoyed her nursery visit although she seemed a little overwhelmed ;) Still I am sure she'll find her little madam feet once she starts :rotfl:

Not much else going on. Need to start prepping things for DD's birthday which is in about 3 weeks. But I want to order some of the party bag stuff off internet and I was going with the Disney Tangled theme so wanted to try and make a "pin the hair on rapunzle" game :o

Anyway need to go and defrost the chicken. Have a lovely evening everyone :D
