does anyone know which broadband providers don't have a 12 month contract. my parents want broadband at their holiday home which they only use for 9 months of the year, and dad refuses to pay for 12 months when he will only use it 9 months. thanks

Nearest I can give you is Metronet which charges only £10.00 per month and extra for usage up to a maximum price, not usage.http://www.metronet.co.uk/adsl/paygo#
I don't know of anyone who will charge only for the 9 months as you would have to go through the application route again.Down south where, unfortunately, the government does remember us.0 -
if you disconnect your service you have to pay activation again.
so a 9 month option is really not worth it!
loads of isps that offer no contract (or 3 month)
