Tesco: Half Price Kids Clothing FRI + SAT

Merrymary many thanks for a great posting.
Went in to my local store today at 10p.m. and no signage up about the sale. Scanned a couple of baby items and they came up at full price. Asked assistant if sale was on and if reduction would come at till. She had to ask someone else who said they had not got round to putting the signage up but couldn't answer the scanning question. Went to CS who said yes sale was on and discount would come off at final checkout. Back to clothing racks (deserted except for maybe one MSE'r as she was filling her trolly as we were. A couple of mins later, CS announce 50% off children's clothing and two SAs appear with the signage after which it got quite crowded. Thanks again, at least we got first dibs at what was on offer.

I just had an e-mail saying the above. But, they have not noted which items are out of stock. They just put a list of all the items I ordered???

If they have listed all my order then does that mean the whole order has been cancelled? Hope not, it took me ages and a lot of frustration yesterday when placing the order. I spent hours coz it kept taking items out of my basket and then adding others!

so can i get free delivery any more? and the £5 off code, does it need to be applied after they have halved it all at check out as i had over £30 and when i applied code it said terms not met for code

can you not get delivered to store yet?

I had a similar email & was confused but in the right hand column it says "In progress" against most of the items but one of them had "Cancelled" against it. HTH

doesn't give the option of delivery instore at the checkout

free delivery still works for me adding a 75p polo shirt

£5 off wys £30 (total after discounts) still works, just checked but can only be used once per account.

just got back from tesco extra, one of the 2.50 boys tshirt is scanning for a £1. the £9 school shoes, the one with 3-straps across is included in the half price. lots of items scanning less than the price on the label.

Works out at an average of £1.79 an item and that included a coat, shoes and jeans etc so bargain!! also got 104 clubcard points and went through topcashback!:money:


(the adding a polo shirt for 3.95 off didnt work for me but the code did for £5 discount )

went at 9am this morning spent £195 and got £300 pounds worth of stuff but realised that babies shoes scanned at full price as accessories but there not accessories and not excluded only hair accessories so will take them back and get then at half price or dtd price???
