I placed an order and the 50% came off and 20% off uniform and added the extra £5 discount code. At the bottom of the screen it showed the various codes and offers that would be used and the full price at the top of the screen when I proceeded to checkout to pay the amount total was offered to show the full discounts/offers etc...perhaps you didn't go far enough to whow the discounted price? I note that you say you never actually ordered anything?

Thanks I did go right to the end as I had already done one order without any problem went back for a few more bits and it wouldnt take off discount never mind to late now anyway. Thanks for your help though.:)

Tesco have now replied to my email:

Firstly, I would like to apologise for the delay in replying to your email. We do try to respond to our customers' emails in a timely manner and I'm sorry that this has not happened on this occasion.

I am also sorry to learn that the half price discount was not being applied to your order and I can understand how disappointing this must be, especially as it was such a good offer.

Regrettably, we did have some technical problems with the offer which have affected a number of customers. However, we don’t want you to miss out, so I have included an eCoupon code below which you can use to get the discount.


All you need to do is enter the eCoupon code on the checkout page and the 50% will be deducted from any childrens’ clothing in the order. Please enter the code as shown above. The code will expire at midnight on the 24/06/11.
