£800 a month to live in Preston seems a bit steep but the house seems fine. Of course you may want to decorate if you owned it but I could live with that decor quite happily for a year or two.
the pots in the yard would be in a skip pronto though.0 -
Looks pretty normal to me? Sure it's not newly decorated in the ever popular beige, but it looks fine.0

It's town centre, the nice bit, so that's why it's expensive. The same size further out of town would be 500-600 a month.0

Have to agree - decor aside it seems a decent house. I was expecting something absolutely monstrous when I clikced the link - bit of an anti-climax when saw it. You should have seen some of the houses I viewed when I was buying - they were horrible and it wasn't just decor.0

Have you seen the bedroom?
It's an exercise in bad taste. I don't understand why they haven't redecorated it to let it!0 -
Doesn't look much different to pretty much every rental I've ever viewed ... Good space though, looks like there's a ballroom in the attic!0

It's more modern and clean looking than where I'm living right now.
Only problem I can see is what looks like a big leak in the loft room.0 -
Yeah it's an old fashioned colour scheme but it looks clean and in good condition. Why spend the time and money redecorating when it will let out anyway? As an ex-tenant, I looked for price, size and location as my top three priorities. Decor isn't important.Have you seen the bedroom?

Decor is important to me.
Maybe I've always been lucky, I've never rented a house that looked like the 70's threw up all over it.0
