banks will scores depending on your relationship you have with them.... eg nice saving acc, current acc, you never miss ddebs etc....
I worked for the Halifax years ago, and when a customer called in, the a box wouldve appeared saying customer is guaranteed £xx loan depending on the relationship with the bank....
IN the credit card dept, you got credit checked only once.... at point of applying about aain you ot a relationship score each month.... things that wouldve took into account, you monthly spend, and the amount you paid back.... if you paid back more then you spent, or in full you got a really good score.... if you paid minimum, you got a low score, and take cash advances had an impact on your score.
What annoyed me is joe bloggs may have shafted all his creditors, he may apply fo a loan, to be refused.... policy was he should be xferred to credit cards if he has a card and we will look to see if we can give an increase.... as i said earlier if he is shafting his creditos, but paying his card each month, and more than the minimum, there was a good chance he would get an increase!!!
Now surely there was a reason he was refued on the credit score!!
and surely thats irresponsible on the banks partPromo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -

It's all about your history with the bank, if you haven't had any defaults and you're profitable for them it will be good. No idea what the 3 means, 3 of out of what? lol
How profitable you are to the bank is totally irrelevant. It's all about how well you manage your accounts, how disiciplined you are with finances, what type of products you have with them and whether you're seen as high/low risk.0
