Hi IsaCream_Man
To be honest, not sure why you can't see Saveonline 7 when you log into your online account.
Saveonline 7 is offered nationally to customers with a single rate or Economy 7 meter. As you're already on Saveonline 5, you should be given the option of version 7 when going through the Switch Now button at the bottom of the Your Account page.
I've just tried this out and Saveonline 7 is definitely there.
When were you looking? The only thing I can think of is, there have been occasions over the last couple of weeks where our systems have gone down or encountered certain technical faults. These definitely impacted on the website and did cause a few issues at the time. Maybe this was the root cause?
However, I'm only speculating. The thing is, Saveonline 7 is still available and can be seen on our website.
Give me a shout if you're still having difficulties viewing this IsaCream_Man. Drop an email to the address in my Profile if you prefer. Will be happy to investigate further.

In answer to your question, the Switch Now button on My Account has never produced the SaveOnline 7 option, and I can confirm that the same was true when I tried it only minutes ago. However, that's a bit academic because as I said in one of my earlier posts on this thread, I was not intending to switch from SaveOnline 5 to 7. If I felt that the online switching button was NOT showing me some tariff I knew was available, I would probably phone to check. But this experience does lead me to wonder whether I can trust what I see with the Switch Now button.
I see that I'm not the only one though, judging by a more recent post from june.elizabeth. Remember that I made my first post on this issue yesterday when it seemed others were being offered tariffs which I wasn't. It all makes me think that to be safe, I'd better start making more use of the phone to see what tariffs are available to me, and not rely on what I see online.
So I take it that you would NOT necessarily agree with my earlier conclusion that this issue was something to do with where I live / post codes, as suggested by Pincher above?
Thanks for coming back though.0 -

Hi guys
I've been investigating this further and found there have been a few other reports of similar problems. Consequently, I've raised the issue with our website technicians.
Not sure how widespread this at the moment as others, including myself, can see the tariff ok.
I would be grateful if either of you, or anyone else reading this with a similar issue, can send me a screenshot of the Switch Now page to the email address in my Profile. I'll use this info to push for a resolution.
Many thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Just to let you know, Saveonline 7 is still available and should be on the website. The fact that it's not for some customers is a fault.
It's also available nationally; so, yes IsaCream_Man, the post code/area is irrelevant.
Thanks again for highlighting this and sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

Just called Eon and experienced straight away why they are Number 1 for Service. The lady was very helpful. Gave me a breakdown of my current cost per unit compared to 2 other options. Uswitch had nothing close, and I certainly wasn't going near nPower.
I chose Eon Fixed Prices 5 which is a slightly higher rate per unit, but I still get my DDM discount. Fixed until July 2013. Although she didn't come out and say it, she intimated that a price rise was likely. We know it's coming. I can still manage my account and give readings online.
I spent ages researching my options and this was the right choice for me. Save yourself the hassle...Call 0845 300 8143 (8am -8pm), confirm your current details. In the final steps they will ask for 2 current meter readings. Job done!0
