Just looked - nothing showing up for Monday. Grrrr, this will put me over my overdraft limit, and I had been SO careful to keep everything ticking along. Feeling tired, p*ssed off and very broke. On the slightly happier side, I have at last managed to get a Christmas job for two months, starting at the end of October, which will ease things a bit. It's very difficult indeed to pay everything out of MS income, especially in a rural area where I have to drive around to try and get a decent 'circuit' of jobs! Thanks for reading my Friday Rant, and thanks to all for the very helpful advice and alerts - much appreciated by this Knackered Ole MSer. xxxx

Can someone help me with Abai? I've just signed up and I can't see any jobs for anywhere. I even tried searching London and there wasn't a thing. Obviously there will be somewhere and I must be missing something. Can someone tell where I'm going wrong?

Hi. Have you added more clients? If not, read the first page of the thread (under FAQ) to see how. If you are still not seeing any, there probably aren't any! They get release in batches and disappear very quickly. Keep checking!! Also, you can search the whole country by sticking a '*' in the location search box.

I am a little annoyed with GAP actually. They are very harsh with their specifications and jobs yet they don't pay on time????? Im assuming they will have been paid by these big companies and are gaining lots of interest every day it is over the 24th of the month!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if there was nothing on. Its the end of the month. Jobs will probably go on next week.

Had a really bad day today. Managed to break my covert camera and its going to cost £155 to replace the broken bit. Nightmare!

Thankfully, the company have let me reschedule to Monday and I have paid extra for special delivery.

On top of that I was caught speeding, so just booked a speed awareness course for £84. Expensive day today. :mad:

Sounds like a conversation I had last week.

He seemed really irritated that I wasn't prepared to drive to a location that was about 90 minutes away for no extra money, as they really needed someone to help them out.

Why do they think I'd want to do 3 hours in the car for them for no extra cash?!
