Retail Maxim, Grass Roots and React (Lodge) money is in my bank account. RE pay on the 25th, when will the payment actually hit a bank account? I have a feeling I am heading for a sack, just hope I get paid first! LOL.
Jen honey bunch baby cakes, have you heard any more from Bare? I am getting worried about the jewellery payment from just over 2 months ago. I'm gonna email Mon and see what she says.0 -
I pretty much agree with DP, I would say if it's a 'posh chicken' then you pay for you food before you eat so make sure you complete the transaction before 9.30.
I have always interpreted it as the time of entry. However, you have to be careful and look at the wording of the assignment. Non-posh chicken, for instance, says clearly that you should conduct the whole assignment within the timeframe, and in this regard, it is extremely unusual.
If I arrive too late, I tend to abort assignments, unless they are extremely low value and it's worth the risk. But I regularly go in at 18:59 for a 19:00 deadline, or whatever, and have never had any problems doing this.0 -
Is that how it works when you 'ignore' someone?!? Their posts literally just don't show up!!
How clever!! I just assumed it meant you wouldn't get a notification etc if you'd got it set up, when they posted.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

Please could users remember the forum etiquette notice ...
Forum EtiquetteThe MoneySavingExpert.com forum is a place to share info and tips with others, discuss MoneySaving and pick up ways to save. We hope you’ll enjoy it, but ask you to remember it’s a broad church with many different types of people. Follow these basic rules to make it a good place to be.- Please be nice to all MoneySavers : There's no such thing as a stupid question and, even if you disagree, courtesy helps.
- Please be sensitive : This may be a web forum, but you’re still talking to other human beings. Repeatedly or harshly saying someone’s wrong, especially on boards like DebtFreeWannabe, Bankruptcy or Benefits, can lead to upset.
We’re proud that many people whose financial problems exacerbate mental health issues seek help in the forum, but this means you may be berating someone who’s clinically depressed. Please think twice before posting judgmental comments. - Don't feed the trolls : Sadly the web has a habit of throwing up a very small but vocal number of trolls, people who are nasty or contrary just to get a rise out of you. If someone’s doing this, simply don’t reply, just report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com. If you get involved and fling mud back, you risk being barred from using the forum too.
- Take care over copyright : Use excerpts and links rather than copying long text. This site asserts copyright on all comments posted on the board.
