  • Hi, I just picked up a chicken visit on RE - does anyone have any tips for keeping under the reimbursement? It's not possible right?

Unless 'drink of choice' can be tap water?? haha.
  • Slightly off-topic, but I'm just wondering whether or not to mention my MSing work on my CV - on one hand, I've gained invaluable skills e.g. in terms of observation, memory, interaction and report writing, however, I can't help but think a potential employer might just read it as "professional liar/bulls****er" :rotfl: I also fear awkward questions should I interview for a company who employs MSers. Any thoughts?
  • Hi all,

I haven't done an RE restaurant assignment for ages, I'm never quick enough but I've just snapped one up! The time restrictions state 18:00 - 21:30, does anyone know if we have to be out of the restaurant by 21:30 or is that the time we have to be seated by?

    Thanks:o

It's the time you have to be in and seated by :)

I'm not sure so wait for the advice of someone who definitely knows, but I've always gone by the final time (your 9:30) means you have to have entered before that. So if you go in at 9:25 you should still be alright. That's what I've always gone by and i haven't had it queried yet.

Ooh don't get me started on that one. They go on about being sick of having to answer the same questions to the uninitiated newbies, but they never seem to get sick of replying to them anyway in a rude and unnecessary way.

If you're sick of answering the same questions do yourself, and everyone else, a favour and don't answer them.

The poor gentleman has been forced to retire and is just looking for a way to earn some beer money for the football. He's politely explained his circumstances and has asked a perfectly simple and reasonable question, he's been replied to several times already and directed to the first page. There's no need to come on and be a complete d!ck just because you don't want to answer the same questions. It had already been answered!!

Biscuitman, ask anything you want Sir. There's a few so called 'experts' on here that walk around with their noses up each others gluteus maximus. But there's more than enough nice folk to help you on your new venture. And I hope you have a happy retirement, although that might depend on what team it is you're following at the weekend. ;)

I pretty much agree with DP, I would say if it's a 'posh chicken' then you pay for you food before you eat so make sure you complete the transaction before 9.30.
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

I'd most definitely include it on your CV. There are loads of skills attached to it. Observational, interaction, taking mental notes, following a scenario (orders) accurately, time keeping, and if you've done auditting there are more skills there too. Don't call it mystery shopping though, consumer research and analysis, or something similar. ;)
