Does anyone find that sometimes their GAP paperwork prints off in what looks like Dutch?

Very bizarre, the web express code is not the same either as shown on the website either.
Mine only print properly in Internet explorer, firefox etc I get gobbledegook!

Same here - works only in Internet Explorer and not Firefox.
  • Hi people. I recently retired ( didnt want to) and obviously no-one is keen to take on a 65 year old so a friend suggested MS. Not looking to make a fortune, just beer and football money basically. So, is this a good idea and if so is it best to register with one company ( and if so who ) or cast the net wider?

Hi, best to register with several because if you sign up with one, it might be one that has little work in your area or work you are not interested in. The first page of this thread has some great info on starting out. :)
  • Hi biscuitman,

welcome on board. As MysteryMe says, read the beginning of this thread and sign up with lots of companies!

    Best of luck!
  • Hey biscuitman. You can make more than enough for beer and football mate. Just sign up with a few companies, get used to it, then sign up to a few more and away you go. There's a big list on the first page to work through. Some companies work better for different people, depending upon location and demograph, so it's difficult to recommend a few. But start with gap and gfk, they've been good for me.

Good luck marra, and enjoy your retirement man.

Yes it's after the 25th and no the Retail Eyes money isn't in. It's not an error. It always hits your account on the last working day of the month.

Just getting in first for a change ;):D
Here I go again on my own....

I can only confirm what everyone else has suggested. Read the first post and sign up to as many as possible. Each person is different, demographics and age play a large part in selection...but you have nothing to lose by trying! I am no spring chicken and do very well for work. Good luck:)

Welcome! Definitely sign up to more than one company, although maybe not too many at once, you don't want to overwhelm yourself! :D And if you're lucky, you may actually get a job that involves having a beer! And with Retail Eyes, you can get jobs that often involve putting a bet on the football, although unfortunately I've yet to find a company that asks you to attend matches!

It's hard to say what company is the best, as everyone's opinion differs, so really you just need to sign up to various companies and see for yourself what you think. For example, some companies/clients might not offer a high fee, but if it's a shop you go to quite often anyway, you might find it's worth doing and get at least a few quid off your shopping!

    Good luck :)
  • Thanks for your help-just off to page one !! Will no doubt be back for more advice
