I'm sure I read somewhere that someone else had the same problem - the TMDC system hadn't updated their status to Platinum - they rang them and it was updated, jobs visible, sorted! Give them a call tomorrow my love.

That is completely true my gorgeous lady friend. I had to call them before I was updated. Everyone used to alert and I would see nothing. Called up and then bham, they all loaded on.

Reminds me of a funny story my mate told me.

He lives opposite this gorgeous lass and although the bathroom windows are frosted he reckons he can still make out her figure when she's in their showering or whatever. He's always bragging he can see this, that and t'other.

Anyways, he got up one morning and his sheets were like a tent. He got up and glanced across the road and there she was in the bathroom, so my mate decided to take matters into his own hands and proceeds to 'take the tent down'.

Well he's looking across the road at the broken, yet highly arousing figure in the bathroom. He's almost at the last stop when out of the side door, he sees the young lass he's been having his way with steping out to put the rubbish out.

Her dad had stayed the night and was just getting showered before heading off to work.


That was years ago but we still remind him of it. Especially when he asks if he can come round. "Probably best if you don't mate. me dad's here."

Three jobs i done yesterday afternoon have all come back this morning with proof reading queries. Stupid common sense ones at that !. Yet the one i done Monday that i though would come back as the picture was not good at all was cleared within 5 minutes of me submiting it Grrrrrrr

I feel your pain -I had one this week which I had an issue with the photograph-so I submitted with a note in the comments explaining the issue and asking if they wanted me to handle it a particular way. I got a canned response telling me the photo wasn't right-clearly as proof readers they don't read the comments on the reports they are supposed to be proof reading-so I called . The entire office was at lunch but I was assured I'd get a response later that day (from a proofreader manager no less)-Nothing, no call, no mail. Next morning a canned response saying I hadn't responded to the proofreading query-which I replied to (somewhat stroppily)-and finally got an answer to. Sometimes I wonder why I bother :mad:
