How annoying is that test you have to do prior to accepting an assignment on RE? Last night a load of jobs came up in my area, there were at least 8 i could have done. But by the time I'd passed that damned test they were all gone!! And I bet everyone was thinking the same aswell. Where's all the jobs gone!?!

for a lot of re jobs they will only let you do one store so the others disappear when you accept one. make sure you accept the preferred first :)

Is that right? That might explain things then. Thanks for the info;)

£300!!! I'd be rather concerned from the start about having to cough up that much outlay and then having to wait a month or three to see if you get it back. Was the fee worth all the worry and anxiety?

I once had Bare not pay me £2300

(Business class flight to Tblisi-2 weeks beofre the war )

Got it back after about 2 months after I'd paid out.

I'd paid by CC and timed the purchase so I had the maximum time to pay -but still had to pay from savings to avoid charges.

    Seriously not impressed.

Could have been a real nightmare.

If the email address was never linked to a Paypal account they should be able to cancel it without a problem, it would have been sitting 'pending' waiting for you to setup a paypal account on that email address to accept it.

Unfortunately the email was specific to an old phone that I no longer have and I can't access it any more :(

Has anyone got any really bad stories about not getting paid or losing money somehow? What's the most you've lost out on?

I ot divorced about 10 years ago and lost about 100k. Does that count
  • Not getting paid?

Did the wrong bookies once. Didnt realise that there was another branch a 100 yards up the same street.
Also underspent in a Gap fuel shop. Only after getting to the till did I find out it was a two for one sweetie offer that left me 40p under the required spend. Gap just rejected it without telling me why.

Both were my fault but the Gap one niggled me. Mainly about the way they handled it.

Nothing major. No big losses, but I would guess that most shoppers have done similiar things at some point. Happens to us all.

Any signs of RE money? I take it they would have paid it on the 12th as the 10th was a Saturday. I suppose that makes it due tomorrow, however it always seems to take an age with Retail Eyes.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.
