Thanks for all the advice and opinions everyone :)

I agree RE hardly seems worth it sometimes. I did a pub lunch yesterday and while the reimbursement covered the meal, by the time I'd paid for petrol and parking I think I just about broken even. At the moment I don't mind too much because I'm just enjoying the free meals out, but it would be nice if eventually I could actually make a little money from it. Hence my questions about what happens when you have a good shopper reputation.

I still haven't heard anything from Grassroots regarding my application. If that goes through I'll see what they have to offer, and then maybe sign up for another company as well.

    Thanks again

Hmm. That does appear to contradict what you said in the first paragraph. Seems a bit pointless me signing up to twenty or thirty different companies when you say you work regularly for less than ten and that number is decreasing.

No, I have done a wide variety of work for a large number of companies over the last couple of years. I now specialise and so work for fewer companies. As my experience has increased in my specialism, the amount of work I do for specific companies has increased and I don't have time for other jobs now.

I remain signed up with lots of them as the occasional job comes up that interests me...

Do bear in mind this is a competitive environment with people competing for work, so whilst people are happy to help with general info (and I've had a huge amount of help) there is a limit to how much detail that it's fair to ask for.

    I can't believe my luck.
I've just got approved for my first ever mystery shopping assignment having only signed up yesterday with 'Bare international'.
They've emailed me back to confirm the assignment is mine and the brilliant thing is that it's "SOME" euros to visit a car dealership, haggle over the price of a particular car and assess the customer service then fill in the online questionaire.
The other brilliant thing is that I can see the car dealership from my house and that my brother has been talking about buying the very car I have to enquire about. Looks like I may be able to get him a decent deal.
Only downside is that they pay on 22nd of the month and I'm doing it on 23rd. :(
Wish me luck I'm gonna need it. So So nervous.

You wouldn't have been paid the same month regardless & BARE can take a few weeks to pay anyway.

Please remove the fee from your post, ta.

If you pass me your details I will make sure that I let you know anytime a company has a job in your area.It will save you the bother of looking.

PMSL! You tell them girl. :p;):D

I think in the future, everyone should just ignore questions like WHICH COMPANIES SHOULD I SIGN UP WITH! It's a suck it and see approach. I've been ms'ing numerous years, started with a few, ditched some, signed up with a few others, never got a shop off some, ditched them etc etc. Simples.

Only 14 people have thanked the post with all the agencies on. Hmmm. Find it quite hard to believe that only 14 people found that post useful! TG love, maybe you should not bother listing them on the new thread.

Sorry, I probably sound like a right grotbag, but it's all the originals that have put all the hard work into getting this thread to where it is, and it's not fair on them!

You didn't sound like you needed it.

Plus I've only ever done those for the standard fee and driven miles to do them so peeved! :p
