"the private benefit was incidental and not the reason for the expenditure"

As misssarahleigh mentions reimbursement jobs are different, personally I doubt the argument that you are doing the job for reputation would get very far, as with a lot of reimbursement jobs this effectively means you are doing it for greater future private benefit - and completely fails for any Fastest Finger First companies.

Surely it's the other way round? If you have to sample the product (e.g. taste the burger) then it's not a benefit, as part of the job is that you have to do it.

Agreed, unless as misssarahleigh pointed out it is a reimbursement only job in which case the product is the benefit.

Nothing much on GFK - fancy moving to Nottinghamshire? There's about 25 visits in my area at the moment!

Glad you can see all of these visits! I dont see much in Nottingham at all!

Has anyone ever had a client query their presence in a shop? I've had a query from GFK, saying a shop has checked their CCTV and I wasn't in the store at that time. I know I visited the right location, and have provided extra info in my reply, such as where the other customer groups were, but I'm a bit worried that it's just my word against the client's.

I do a lot of work for GFK and in five years I've never had a query. I don't want to lose work over this, but I'm not sure what else I can do to prove I did the visit as required. :(

Can you not ask GFK to get the client to provide the CCTV footage to you so you can let them know where you are on it? Not sure if this is possible, but it's the only way you can prove that you were there surely? Also ask GFK if they have seen the footage.

They are all specific banks in and around Notts. there aren't any city centre ones left but Arnold, Mansfield and little places are still there - 2 diff banks, one of them you need to have an account with and its a simple query and the other you can't have an account with.

Sinec 8th July I've done 25 visits for them and am maxed out on all the waves for July now :(

Oh I see. It makes sense now. Got an email from GFK asking me if I wanted to do any of the calls and emails. I am not registered nor have an account with any of the companies they are assessing. Oh well. It's all good.

Has anyone picked up any work this week? I ain't seen jack! I've not even had anything go on RE all week bar some poncy pharmacies and gaming shops. Normally they have at least 7 new sets of shops a week. Have they lost contracts? Oooh err missus!

    Hey good evening.
The simple bank jobs which can have 3 different time periods for GFK.
Does anyone know whether the max you can complete is 6 or 12?

Also I may join on the tax debate, it is quite right that Gapbuster asks whether you like fast food, so people lie to get the jobs and then state that they merely taste the food and chuck it. Well clearly if you don't like fast food then surely you shouldn't be doing the jobs as this is going against the job notes that Gap have stated.

Taxing for mystery shoppers = A big GREY area. Don't kill yourself over it. :)

Its as quiet as I have seen it for a while, I have got 12 lined up for next week up to now and I usually have at least double that by now. I have got 43 in for this week so not too bad. At this rate I will end up decorating next week unless someone posts a lot of jobs soon!!!!
