Oh PP. No wonder you are anti medical staff! Time to bite the bullet tho' me thinks and call and see who is in. At least then you have a definate plan of action, go there, or go elsewhere!

I've just done a running raid on boots, despite feeling dreadful. Acid indigestion kicked in BIG time last night after a fairly inoffensive and small meal and still hasnt gone yet. Had to try and sleep propped up on a bolster, and 4 pillows. Did NOT sleep well, especially with the exacerbation of two of the cats deciding to go bonkers hootling round the room till the early hours. Nice pharmacist, very helpful, but made me have the gaviscon which i hate. She insisted it was the best OTC for it, so i've had to take her word. I'm desparate enough to try anything right now (other than the aniseed gaviscon which she suggested. Gone for trad mint). Not sure whether to try making myself puke. Feels like it might help.

Kira - don't know if you've tried Tums? Gaviscon makes me heave so I just can't even take it (might it be better chilled - sounds weird but might work). You can only take 7 tums a day if you have heartburn but I haven't needed to take more than about 3 to get rid of heartburn.
Nearly finished the ironing but it would take less time if I didn't keep wondering off & sitting down in between items :o
