PP I love all of your girl's names. Really pretty.
I hope your bleeding isn't making you feel weak or run down. Make sure you have time in your busy schedule to look after yourself too!0 -
Congratulations Lozzy!
Ooo I like Bevan, thats a fab name...thanks for sharing Piggers!0 -
Congratulations lozzy
you have great taste in names as we have picked the same name for flump when he is born, but we are spelling it the Scottish way (Finlay) as we have a lot of Scottish connections on both sides of our families
There are lots of lovely names that people have picked out on hereif flump was a girl we would have called her Philippa Ann so I am going to save that name for next time! I also really liked Phoebe

Everyone expects him to be a girl and he gets Bethan all the time.. lol. My sister is Ashleigh and everyone expects her to be male.. she even got a place at the boys school when it came to going to high school lol She hates her name.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Who the hell thinks Bevan is a girls name? Some people honestly!
My OH liked Ashley for a boy and I said NO! It's a girls name to me.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Plus, you've got to say the name with the surname. DH worked with a Philip McCracken, which isn't too bad, but he typically got Phil as a nickname....
My brother, dad, both Grandads and 3 of my 4 great granddads were called William. I want it as a middle name if we have a boy. OH isn't as keen. The other great grandad was called James, which I really like too.
Pigpen I love your choice of kids names!!
Gilly, I have a friend called Bevin, who is a girl :-)
Congratulations Lozzy :j:j:j Finlay is a lovely name too.
Re: mum and baby spaces, I've been using them for the last month. And dear help anyone who challenges me using them!! I can manage not too bad in my people carrier, but totally struggle to get out of the OH's bmw. Have to kick the door open as far as it goes before struggling up and out.
I really want some ice-cream, but don't have any in the house, and can't be bothered going shopping. Might have to make do with more angel delight.First Baby born January 2007

Names are influenced by people you know though. I can't stand Holly, as one of the biggest wastes of space I ever worked for was named that...
That's the other side too. With us having a December baby, we've had Holly, Ivy (would be appropriate, given my tattoo), Noel, Mithras, Aria, Donna (Donner), Gloria, Joy, Angel, Carol, Star- all not helped by the fact my name means Christmas Day in Latin.
Joseph, Nicholas, Winter, Christopher- I'm deliberately not choosing a Christmas name now! Though I really like Aria.0 -
I think it's Phelim Alison, not 100% sure though. Names like that confuse children I think.
I LOVE Aria, it's so pretty. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Oooh lots.. the occupational therapist for a start, the ed. psych.. the dentist.. people who should know better because they have the gender on the forms/screen in front of them usually!
Then they get this hairy, greasy, grubby 15 y/o male specimen with spots and face fuzz presented to them.. it is amusingLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
