afternoon all, hope everyone is ok, (hugs to pigpen)

well i sorted out the nursery yesterday, yes it was all done and then hubby went to france for the month and i was left alone with the laptop so ordered loads of xmas presents and filled the nursery up lol oh well at least most of the shopping is done now.

so have washed and ironed all sheets etc for moses basket and cot. have washed all blankets and vest, babygrows etc for the hospital bag just need to find a list of what to add into it.

hubby has beenworking away in the garden all day, (i mentioned to him the other day that come next summer this little one will be toddling around out there and i think he panicked lol)

just on my way out into the garden with the boys as they want thier tent put over the trampoline (it is actually a tent that fixes properly on the trampoline im not just trying it for fun lol)

had a lovely day yesterday catching up with friends at a bbq but am bit shattered now.
now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j

We bought a cot last night from a girl in Belfast- looked alright in the pictures, and was only £20..... It's a Mama's and Pappa's one. Strangely the girl wasn't there when I went to pick it up, but her partner was- he said she was away for a walk as she was sentimentally attached to the cot.... There were no kids things lying around in the house or hall that I could see. He seemed quite sad, but helped me lift the cot into my car.

I think maybe they lost their child? Everything indicated that might be so. If so, it's even more reason to get happy memories from the cot now.

That's really sad Lirin :( God love them.

  • afternoon all.

Hugs to pigpen - give him a kick in the balls!

Lirin - that's really sad about the cot.

is anyone else sweating like a pig? i just have to think about moving and start sweating - disgusting

i've just taken the dog for a waddle, it's too hot for such activities and it made me sweat!

on my own all day today as hubby is out doing his pass plus driving course. bless him, he was so nervous he spent an hour sat on the toilet beforehand :rotfl: but i'm bored being on my own and it's meant i've had to walk the dog and do some washing up, i could pack my just incase hospital bag, but for some reason i keep putting it off.

is quite scary thinking it's only 4 weeks til my due date

Afternoon peeps and thanks for all the due date good wishes:D I can't believe it has come around so fast and I am happy to admit I am bricking it a bit now lol I think as Doglover said, its more the not knowing when it will happen rather than the fear of labour itself (not that I'm looking forward to that either but I'm hoping I'll be in good hands and will get through it).

Still no sign of a show here so it was good read some of your posts about it not neccessarily happening before labour. At my MW appt on Fri baby had disengaged again so have been bouncing on my gymball all weekend and have felt more pressure down below today so hopefully its starting to engage again.

Gilly, Lirin is right that MC deliveries to NI take an extra day at least to be delivered. I wouldn't bother ringing them tbh, their CS is very hit and miss imo although in fairness all issues I've had with them have been sorted out eventually. I've never been able to track orders online with them either so don't worry about that.

Pigpen, I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with the OH. I really hope you can sort something out one way or the other as the stress of that is the last thing you need right now.

Lirin, could be that they lost their wee one:( I know a lot of people who bought big items really early on in pregnancy and unfortunately things didn't work out. Or it could be that the girl is just an oddball like me lol, I would leave my OH to deal with something like that as I hate the idea of strangers at my house when I'm there and would have taken the dog out or something. Anyway you'll create your own lovely memories with the cot now so no point pondering the background needlessly hun.

Oh and I hope everything is ok with Caelshorn now and that her antibiotics are working. Sounds like it was a bit of a scare at the time.

Well I had plans to go out for the day with OH and the dog but I just feel so tired now so may have a nap and see how I feel later. I really want to go out but not sure where to go and don't want to go too far as OH will panic lol

I've pretty much given up on moving for a bit. If I move sudden, it hurts sharp in my groin. I'm much better sitting here anyway- it's all I'm expected to do today really!
