give it up m8..its not going to happen..the sooner you face up to this the better...get a little earner on the side...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
I cant put up with another year like the past 5, i'll kill myself before i give up ... and that seems a better option honestly0

I know things seem very difficult at the minute but the whole beauty of MSE forums is that *Someone* will have been through what you are and have come out the other side. There will be an end in sight at some point, honestly.

Have you had advice about whether other debt options would be more suited to you, such as an IVA etc? Obviously dependant on your circumstances.
You are not going to be able to get a 25k loan in the current financial market. Even if you had a perfect credit history you would still struggle, it's not going to happen. I would suggest putting your energy into finding another longterm solution to your debt which is more suited, as you're obviously not happy in your DMP.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Wouldn't selling your house solve a lot of problems? You wouldn't need to find the money to fix it, you could move anywhere and you would have some money to throw at your debts. If I were in your position and I had a solution that good, I'd be laughing.0

The best bit of advice on this I could give is what I did, I had about £20k worth of debt and needed help quickly, I diet know what to do and got in touch with a company called Debt fixers or Money Debt and Credit
They helped me out so much I couldn't believe it, took my payments from about £550 to £350 a month over night
I spent a year with them and in January this year I managed to pay off 2 of my creditors and now I'm down 2 5 creditors, I worked out that my monthly payments were now less than what I was paying to that company so I rang each company and asked for an agreement, try all agreed to keep my accounts as they were in this agreement so now I have set my own snowball off where I pay the lowest payment first and pay that fee onto the second payment and then them onto the third etc
I have now because of this paying little each month been able to clear my old joint account and also my partners account so we are heading on the right track
I found selling stuff helped, I now shop at places like makro, aldi, lidl and iceland, found poundland is good, all these places charge alot less for most products than morrisons, tesco etc
I'm not sure on what and to who you owe but try companies like I have if your desperate0 -

If you want debt advice your best bet is the free advice charities CCCS, National debtline, CAB, christians against poverty etc.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

They are DMP companies the same as CCCS and do exactly the same job but the difference is where CCCS is a charity and doesn't charge extortionate fees, these companies will rip you off in fees and repay hardly anything to your creditors. Please think VERY careful before agreeing to anything with these creditors.

Tbh I think differently in a certain way, if it wasn't for them i would never be as clear as I am now with money, I know I still owe alot but they got the companies to freeze interest and decrease payments, I had no add in to the price of any finance I owed and the debt company I payed about £50 a month to them but with menbeen on it a year I came off it when I got things sorted
I agree in the long haul they take money from you as if you can really get your head around your debts then you can get onto companies about them and ask them for ways to sort it, the debt snowball idea is really good once you write everything down and work it out, iphone apps are Amherst help for that0
