    Morning my lovelies :D

DS off school (but only cause they require 24 hours after last bout of being sick) - no point in sending him after lunch so home he'll stay. He was feeling much better last night......so much so him and DD were back to their usual bickering
Plans for today are to take DD up to pre school for her group photo and heading round to my mums for the afternoon.
Hung one load of washing (done yesterday), another one in machine so need to break the vac out and start on some housework.
Kids woke up at 6am  (seems to be the new time :() but I got up and did my Shred DVD, am knackered now :o

Tea will be whatever I can grab as we have a bloke coming round to give us a quote for a conservatory, a meeting at school about DD going to nursery and then off to tap class :eek:

Anyway time to get my butt in gear.

Hester - that Bursar is such a t w u n t. What's she reported you to head for? Stealing school supplies?! Give bursar enough rope and hopefully she'll hang herself xx

Bargainbird - well mum, business entreprenuer and now a journalist ;) what's next? The UN? Prime Minister? :T

Julie - I think getting her mum on the case is a good way to go. She's a cheeky mare ringing the house at that sort of time, especially to get him to go round again

Hugs and spoons all round. Have a great day OS or not.

Have spoken to my boss about my house, he's explained commercial lets to me and has offered to come round and check the property for me to make sure we were getting my monies worth. Have emailed the LL to say we are definately interested, need to spend the next few days looking for comparables for pricing :) SO excited about this!

Good Afternoon everyone! Hair done this morning - not a lot else! Caught myself thinking how nice it was to have creamy shower stuff again - then remembered I don't, and am using up all DH's leftovers....OK so my skin colour should be preserved as I used my hair shampoo for coloured hair as shower gel - but hey, soap is soap!!
Am having a real can't be bothered to do anything few days - hope I snap out of it soon!
New flooring makes everything look so much better!
    Anyhoo - take care!

    Afternoon all!
DS2 hurt his wrist in footie yesterday so spent the morning sat in A&E getting an x-ray. Its fine but he does love a bit of drama ;)
Re-potted my tomato plants and put extra straw under the strawberries. My darling little squirrel I feed on the lawn each day jumped up onto the kitchen window sill today because I was running late with her lunch!
Having tartiflette tonight after seeing the ham hock thread!!
De-stressing hugs to all who need them x

    Afternoon all,

Shopping this morning as we had no butter or tea, got washing and dishwashing tabs, toilet rolls couple of extra tins of tomatoes as 2c off, spent €45 all told, but no more until 27th....no matter what OH wants, he can buy it himself, my purse is not opening!

Off to Sardinia on Sunday to get car repair done.....will take a day but we there for week, just can't look at it as holiday as wouldn't have gone until October if it weren't for car....feel so stupid, and mad at having to spend this money now...but then no use crying over spilt milk, each euro will be squeezed until I have paid the money back to savings...sorry, other people have real worries.

Meant to have had heavy rain to-day but it is quite pleasant so far if overcast, need to feed my tomatoes and peppers so that they will survive while we are away, everything else is outside so not a problem, am sure there will be plenty of rain to keep them going.

Prognosis after MRI not good for little S, still have to wait and see....thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

Sweet and sour chicken tonight for dinner with last of chocolate cake as pudding, have sauce sachet bought ages ago so will use it up and always have lots of rice and chicken came out of freezer, something I won't bother to tell OH as he is funny about freezer!

Julie...think advice to invite her round is good, just try not to wring her neck while you have her there!

Hester....you couldn't manage to hang some bunting somewhere that bursar might fall through or into it could you?? Try to keep calm so that Saturday is a lovely day for you.

Really should be doing things like filling bags for CS, OH has put on weight since he stopped smoking....all in front which means that none of his slim-fit shirts fit any more, can't see him losing anything so shirts can go, he has far too many anyway. Then there are all the clothes of mine which have shrunk drastically and should go too.

Hope that the rest of the day is good for you all, hugs where needed
