    Hello
The black wii comes with motion plus good for one of the games (wii sports i think) depends if all 4 want to play at a time.. you can for tennis also bowling.. i'm sure there may be others where you can have up to 4 players.
If you all want to play for example bowling then you'll need additional remotes for each player
Nunchucks are for boxing etc so prob just get another one.. there is a cycling game where both wiimote and nunchuks are used... not sure up to how may players.. does anyone know?
Mario kart - you will need steering wheels i'm guessing one each for as many players, I know additions/littlewoods have recently got black wii accessories. Tesco has some at resonable prices, also hmv.com have them too.
    Hope this helps

At Christmas we played bowling and there were 4 of us, we managed quite happily with two wii remotes and the motion pluses added.....We just took turns. Saves you buying 4 Wii remotes. We got one remote and motion plus with the console and then we bought the extra one seperately. We got one nunchuk with the console as well and bought one extra seperately and we have found that fine. The nunchuk is used for things like boxing and archery and certainly for boxing you would only have two players at a time so this would be enough...

We googled and used https://www.find-games.co.uk to find the cheapest Wii remote accessory pack and nunchuk....
  • I'm trying to sell my new one on ebay - they dont seem to be selling quickly on there at all though. Thought they had lost popularity but after reading this thread, I will keep trying !

If you want to have 4 people playing Mario Kart (and many other 4 player games), you will need 4 Wii Remotes. You can get these for around £25 - 30 each.

Not many games need the Motion Plus, so you do not need 4 of them. Likewise, not many (4 player) games use the Nunchuck - but certainly 2 of these (ie the one with the console and 1 more) are useful. They are around £15 each. You will need one for games like Raving Rabids - great fun by the way ...

Game are doing a deal on a remote and Nunchuck for £40 - not a bad price - http://www.game.co.uk/Accessories/Wii/Wii-Remote-and-Wii-Nunchuk/~r333230/

You may want to consider the Wii Play game for around £30 http://www.game.co.uk/Games/Wii/Wii-Play-with-Wii-Remote/~r329596/ it is a simple game, but comes bundled with a remote, so works out at £5 for the game.

You certainly don't need a 'steering wheel' accessory to play Mario Kart - but I have seen / bought thee in Poundland recently - i think they cost about £1, and work just as well as £10 ones (just big plastic rings really)

Same goes for the golf-club / tennis racket add-ons - they really are only bits of plastic, and have no real purpose other than cosmetic.

Rechargable batteries for the remote can be useful - have a look at this twin charger from Argos - great price at £6.66, but do hurry as I am sure the price won't last much longer - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5680645.htm

I've been told twice this week by people that normal rechargeable batteries last longer than if you charge in the charger. Is this so?

I bought a recharger thing from Argos and it has been so useful, before I had it we used rechargeable batterys and were changing them often now I never have to worry about it

Not sure about that, but the convenience of leaving the batteries in the remote and having a charge station to stand them in is great.

    Hi,

I am looking to buy a wii bundle:
    Console
    balance board
    wii fit
    sports/ sports resort
    3/4 remotes
    2 nunchucks

I've been looking around, but there is a lot to go through! Can anyone recommend me where I can get a well-priced bundle??

    Cheers in advance :)
